The Aspiring Engineer

Not too long after I finished the previously uploaded doodle, I decided to draw some more aliens cuz I was in the mood. I just like drawing aliens, ok? They're fun. So I made this. Not sure if i classify this as a sketch or a fully shaded picture to be honest...you decide. Done entirely in Krita with no 3D posing prior.

Depicted above is Zhytra, who's had a very busy afternoon working on a new device of his and decided it was time to for a short break to relax! Sit down some, stretch your limbs, spread your wings for a bit. Not like he has much else to do if the window landscape is any indication...

This picture had a bit of history....I like how I drew Zhytra. its one of my best anatomy pictures, where the limbs aren't too long and the head is greatly proportioned against the rest of the body, contrasted with a background that I at first found absolutely horrible. Horrible enough that I almost gave up finishing the picture. So i shared a WIP around with some people to ask for feedback, and everyony said it wasn't as horrible as i said at first. So i gave it a night in between to rest, came back to the picture and ended up finishing it. Let it be a lesson for you to never give up so quickly on something, and that sometimes you just need a night of sleep to clear your mind.
